Book Club

CREW’s Open Book Club is a bit special… no prescribed books but a loosely environmental ‘theme’, a lovely pub table to sit at and 2 months to read between each meet-up.

Since we started in September 2024, our themes have been the Sea, Air, New, Green, Heat, Animals, Hope, Family and Growth. We have discussed a wonderful variety of reading genres including children’s books, poems, dystopian and speculative fiction, environmental non-fiction, Booker prize winners and novels by local authors.
