I recently started volunteering at the CREW in Worthing.
I think of myself as reasonably informed about environmental issues and living a more ECO life. However, since spending time at the CREW, I’m learning a lot more e.g. about ways to save energy, or reduce my carbon footprint. I’m finding out about all the great projects and groups taking action to help fight climate change locally. There are so many services and businesses working to help us all reduce our impact and make a difference. The CREW makes it easier to find out about them.
I plan to share this new knowledge, not just with the public who come into CREW, but with my family and friends. I feel inspired to make changes to my diet as well as further energy efficiency improvements in our home.
I’m looking forward to attending some of the events at the centre and to networking with other green minded people. Working together to create change, helping ourselves and others to adapt to more sustainable ways of living.
